Hey all! You may have noticed something called "Karma" on your own or someone else's page. I'm here to explain it! It's a kind of point system we've decided to use for the benefit of the players on here. This is how you get them
1. Other player's can "exalt" you when you do something nice or helpful. Remember that you can only exalt someone once a day. (every 24 hrs) but don't let that stop you! Let's bump up some Karma!
2. If you get other people to join, just let Rusty know and you will receive 25 Karma!
3. If myself, another MOD, or rusty notices you doing something exceptionally worthy, we may just reward you with some extra Karma
4. Every time you gain a star, you will receive 100 KARMA!! See "about stars" in the Rules and Info forum
How to loose Karma
1. Other players can "Smite" you if you are being rude or breaking the rules.
2. If you get reported you may get points taken away if the report is true.
On the note of smiting, please be nice about how you use this! It's not just for when you feel like it or you're annoyed at them for not making the game go the way you want or something like that.
And now for the bonuses of having Karma!
1. It show's other players you know what you're doing! More Karma means other players look up to you. It also means you've been on here a while, and know your way around
2. You will have a better chance of being allowed to move to a better position in the herd.
3. Once you reach 500 Karma, you will be considered for a MOD position! You are not guaranteed a position but you will certainly be on our list of potential MOD's.
