MOD posistions

Hello! Bandit here again to give you some more info! The topic this time is mod positions. Now I know all of you would make wonderful mods but unfortunately we can only have a certain amount at a time. So lets start with how we decide who becomes a mod.

Ok well actually it'll be you guys who decide! We have decided to hold elections for who will become the next mod when we have 2-5 players who have 5 stars and 500 karma or when we need more staff.

An announcement will be posted and the candidates listed. We will have e-mailed those candidates beforehand and asked why they should be mods. Their responses will also be posted.

The candidates who don't become mods will be candidates in the next election.

One last thing. We've decided that the candidates must be at least 15 in order to acquire a mod position. This is for the good of the site so please don't argue!

I'm mature for my age, if that helps. And I like things to be done by the rules and as they should be. Does that bump me up from 11 to 13? I can be a junior mod LOL

Well you automatically become a junior mod at 500 karma/5 stars. But sorry, you can't be a mod even if you are mature for your age.

I'm 12, I thought, hey maybe i can be a MOD, that would be super fun! Then i saw the 15 limit, oh nevermind.

@ Ajax: I'm sorry but Rusty and I have decided on this limit because a MOD needs to be responsible, follow the rules, and know how to act in pressured situations. 15 is a good age for that.

@ Kaz: Thank-you for supporting this rule. As I mentioned, at 500 karma and 5 stars, you become a Junior MOD which does come with responsibilities.

Bandit I just have a question, if you get 5 stars and your younger than 15 years old does that mean you have to wait till your 15 at least to be a MOD? this is just a serious question...i dont mean to offend the rules...cause i understand and agree about the rules i just wanna know

No problem Danza! Yes you would have to wait until you reach 15 =/ But until then you are a "junior MOD" which does come with responsibilities

Thank you for asking Rusty I understand if things don't work out... but I mean that's pretty close o.o I do get why this rule is implimented. Usually by then you have more patience and understanding. At least, that's what I think. And hey, Junior Mod is better than no mod at all!

I have to say, I'm a little concerned with the voting thing. What if there are people on the site with people they know in RL? They may know in the back of their mind that a diffirent person is better suited, but they might just go ahead and pick the friend anyway, to spare bad feelings. I just want to make sure this is totally anonamous.(sp?) That way no one feels mad at eachother A little white lie, "oh yea, I voted for you!" never hurt anybody
