*Gathers her hind quarters under her and speeds past Bandit and uses her long legs to grab the earth and galloped flat out, soon she had passed Rose and Kiro, then they were a dot in the back, she yells.* I love running! Try to catch me!

[Shasta - Kiro [MOD]]

I called out to the running horses, "Don't go too far! You'll run off the island!!" I called at the top of my lungs, half joking, half not.

.:Kiro:.

I was stunned by Pauli's speed, envious that I couldn't run like that. "Don't you worry!" I said to myself. "I'll be that fast when I'm older!" Talking to myself made me realize how out of breath I was. I slowed, panting. When Momma called me and the others, I decided to turn back, after calling to Pauli, "Race you back to the herd!!" She was very far out, and stopping had abled me to catch my breath. I pulled, sprung, pulled, sprung, untill I was galloping faster than I ever had. When Shasta and the others were about 4 ft away, I slowed so I wouldn't hit them.

I slid to a stop in front of my Momma, her eyes gleaming with pride. I turned around, and saw Pauli coming in not too far back from me. When she arrived, I teased, "Beat ya!"

Kaz

I woke up and looked around, there was a lot of horses running around like foals, including Bandit, Pauli, and Danza. I slept kind of near Bandit, Silver, and Danza, I was also part of the head of the Strum herd, but since Shasta didn't say my name, and I respected her, I just slept near them. I got up and walked around laughing at everyone running around. I looked at the two herds together, very big indeed. I tried a pine cone, I finished it slowly, I forgot what they tasted like, I made a mental note to myself to not eat that many pine cones.

[Pauli]

Pauli

*Pins her ears at the little boggar* Shut up. You only beat me because you were so far BEHIND me. And you turned around and galloped away BEFORE you called.

[Bandit [ADMIN]]

Bandit

I had been running around in the snow with the foals and other horses that had joined in the fun but at Pauli's sharp words, I stop cold and trot toward them "Pauli!" I snap, so angry at her I could almost take a chunk out of her hide "That's no way to talk to a foal!! He was just having fun! Now apologize to Kiro AT ONCE and I don't ever want to hear you talking that way to a foal again!"

[Rye]

OOC: Sorry for the inactivity, I've been practicing dressage all week.

- Rye -

When Rye awoke, everyone was already up. He saw horses and foals playing but he didn't dared to join them. What if someone hurted him? Rye couldn't run such a risk. He flattened his ears and went toward Danza. He laid behind her, looking at the new horses.

[Kaz]

Kaz

I was happily watching everyone until I heard Pauli's comment, my ears slightly went down. Then I heard Bandit start to deal with it, my ears went back up, glad I didn't have to deal with it. Pauli seemed like Ajax, not my most favorite horse, but this time I wasn't going to interact with Pauli, so I wouldn't start to dislike her. So I continued to look around at the herd, not paying complete attention to Pauli and Bandit, but completely listening.

[Shasta - Kiro [MOD]]

I cowared behind Bandit at Pauli's comment, whom quickly stood up for me. I was glad to have such a nice lead stallion... and mother!

.:Shasta:.

When the mood went south, I immediatly went after Pauli, pinning my ears, and giving her a quick bite on her shoulder. "You are to Never treat a foal like that, especially not mine!" The bite didn't necasarily hurt, but was just enough reinforce the consequence. I liked Pauli just fine, but as lead mare I had to be responsible for my herd - If I didn't punish, and this happened again to one of the Strum foals, Bandit could be the one to really hurt her, and I never wanted a fight between herds.

[Pauli]

_Pauli_

*Flashes her 'You better be quiet, unless you WANT to be hurt' look.* I think. You better apoligize you me. I think you should have explained the rules to me as soon as I got here. I used to think that both of you were good leaders. But I was wrong. Your HORRIBLE leaders. *She turns sharply and bolts, using her long legs and Kiro's grab and spring metiod, she is gone in a second*

OCC No probs Rye Good to have you back!

Bandit

I narrow my eyes and snort in annoyance as Pauli takes off, though I'm not too sad to see her go. Any mare that treats a foal that way could be a danger to the herd. I turn to Kiro and say "I'm sorry all that had to happen! Why don't you go have that swim with your mother now?" I suggest before nodding to Shasta; she handled herself and Pauli very well and I found a deep respect for her.

[Shasta - Kiro [MOD]]

I nodded back to Bandit, happy that we can be friendly with eachother - wars are awfully hard on horses.

.:Kiro:.

I lit up as Bandit told me we could go for our swim. I leaped over to my momma. "I'll beat ya in!!" I took off toward the small pool, reaching the shore at a gallop. I leaped off the edge, putting my legs under my so I could get out far, but not hurt my stomach. I landed in the water on my legs, for it was shallow wnough, but it did come just to the top of my withers. How I missed this!

I laughed and took off after him. Once he was in, I used the same tactic, but jumped smaller so not to land on him. We splashed and played, just like we had before.

OCC: How come i miss the good parts every time

-Danza listened to the fight and i agreed with Bandit and Shasta, no one can treat a foal that way! Danza sighed at Pauli's take off also and trotted over to Bandit "Bandit im sorry Pauli has been this way..." Danza gave a reassuring smile and watched Shasta and Kiro swim in th water. Mother and Foal. How touching. Danza saw Rye behind her and nuzzled him "It's okay Rye, fights over now.."-

[Bandit [ADMIN]]

Bandit

I nod and say "It's not your fault. I just hope Kiro won't be affected by this." I glance over at the happy little colt splashing around in the icy water, and I can't help but smile at his antics. I turn back and see her nuzzling a foal! "Hello." I say in a friendly voice, then give Danza a questioning look, where did he come from?

[Shasta - Kiro [MOD]]

Me and Kiro played for a while before we both realized we were getting a bad chill. We got out and shook off, followed by a nice roll. When we were both painted chestnut with dirt, We trotted back over to check out the herd. When we reached Bandit, I noticed him asking about Rye. "This is little Rye. He's an orphan we picked up. He's a sweet little thing." I winked at Rye kindly, then whispered to Bandit, "And Danza is especially fond of him," I added, noting the mare's motherly actions to the small foal.
